“The SUPER8.HU „ is one of Europe’s largest searchable online archive with approximately 2,000 hours of content. The uniquely rich collection is the visual fingerprint of six decades (1930 – 1990 ).
This is a film archive that shows how the world really looked like before the digital age. Hungary.s first and only Super8 site is a kind of time-travel into the past, as it presents almost every location of the world from Alaska to the Great Wall in China,takes the viewer back to moments like the May Day procession and the Christmas dinner, shows how the world looked like 30, 40 or even 70 years ago. Watching the continually expanding visual material of the archive is a must for movie producers, makers of tv-commercials, VJs or those film-lovers who just simply want to see how our grandparents lived.
The programme
